October 4, 2023 : Meijer, a leading Midwest retailer, has announced that it will enter the health insurance space in partnership with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. The new health insurance product, Meijer Health Plan, will be available to Meijer employees and customers in Michigan starting in 2024.
Meijer Health Plan will offer various health insurance options, including individual, family, and small group plans. The plan will also offer a number of unique features, such as access to Meijer pharmacies and stores.
