November 29, 2022 : College of DuPage President Dr. Brian Caputo welcomed local healthcare industry administrators at his introductory presidential community luncheon, carried last week at COD’s Culinary & Hospitality Center situated on the Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.
Created to gauge the current state of health care to serve better future workforce requirements and foster college and industry partnerships, the luncheon emphasized current COD healthcare academic offerings. Afore the lunch networking sessions, guests were also requested to tour the college’s Health and Sciences Center with different faculty members.
COD’s Nursing and Health Sciences Division delivers more than 30 health-related certificate and degree places of study.
Graduates generally achieve a nearly 100 percent pass ratio on applicable board certification examinations.
The Higher Learning Commission conventional accredits the College of DuPage. Helping more than 22,000 students each term, the College of DuPage is Illinois’s most famous public community college. The college grants seven associate degrees and presents more than 170 career and technical certifications in over 50 areas of study.
